Description

The Space
Clean, elegant, serene and fully self-contained. Beautifully appointed 325 square foot studio apartment is on the ground floor of our very secluded family home, a true hidden gem. Includes fully equipped kitchenette, washer/drier and free Wifi. Level access, no stairs. Off-street parking just steps from your door.
Guest Access

The apartment has its own small private lanai. While attached to our family home, the studio is completely self-contained and feels quite separate. You will be the only guests on our property. Our studio kitchenette is ready for very minimal cooking with an apartment size fridge, cookware, dishware, utensils, hot plate, microwave, toaster oven, toaster and coffeemaker. There is a compact washer/dryer and we provide laundry detergent, paper supplies, iron, blow drier, small toiletries, coffee, tea, milk and sugar.

Interaction with Guests
As this is our family home, we respect our guests’ privacy and kindly ask you do the same for us. We are more than happy to quickly respond to your questions, concerns and local recommendations via phone, text messaging or email.

The Neighborhood
Cool, green and peaceful Manoa Valley is a residential neighborhood known for its historic charm and unique homes. Just a 15-minute drive from the excitement of Honolulu, yet a world away… quiet and serene.

Getting Around
Off-street parking is steps from your door. Most guests rent a car, and we recommend doing so, as we are in the suburbs. The Number 6 bus stop is a five-minute walk away, but be aware Manoa can be a bit rainy. We suggest “Turo” car rentals as an alternative to the big companies at the airport.

Other Things to Note
Please note that we have a super-friendly, energetic indoor
5-year-old female Standard Poodle, “Xena Moana, Warrior Princess of Manoa”, who is sometimes in our yard and driveway. Guest pets are not permitted without prior approval.

I loved our stay here. Our host was wonderful and the studio is magical. It was really nice to get away from the busy city and enjoy the peaceful Manoa valley. A much needed getaway!

This place was absolutely perfect! Dale and her family are the sweetest people with the truest Aloha spirit. Dale had little treats awaiting in the fridge upon our arrival and the space was an absolute sanctuary. My husband and I live in the city so we really enjoyed the beautiful Manoa weather with its perfect view and hills to run. Though attached to the house, it felt very private…like we had our own little cottage in the rainforest! This was a perfect little stay-cation and we were so blessed by it!
