We opened our first Doraku restaurant over 10 years ago in South Beach, Florida. The restaurant is modeled after a Japanese Izakaya which is a Japanese gastropub. It’s a place to enjoy traditional and new tastes while having fun with friends or to unwind after a long day at work. It is the commitment to quality and attention to detail that make the Doraku experience live up to its name: “the road to happiness.”

Located in Kaka’ako of Honolulu’s most desirable neighborhoods – is just minutes from downtown the Ward Center, Ala Moana Shopping Center and Neal Blaisdell Center.

Happy Hour everyday from 4pm to 6pm

Late Night Happy Hour everyday from 9pm to close

Valet parking is available for $3 charge, street parking is free after 6pm and all day on sunday in marked areas.

    Great happy hour! All happy hour food items are $7 or less and include items like salmon carpaccio, ahi tataki, and firecracker shrimp. Get there early if your going for happy hour as they don’t take reservations for happy hour, 4 to 6pm and late night 9pm to close.

    One of my favorite sushi places. Perfect for date night. Charming atmosphere and comfortable seating.
